Roll On Roll Off (RORO) car shipping method is a method used to ship vehicles/ Cargo by driving them on and off the car shipping vessel. Cars may also be loaded in the shipping vessel using a platform vehicle such as a self propelled modular transporter.  The most common and cheapest method to ship cars from UK to Africa, Asia, Australia, Far East,Middle East, The Caribbeans, South America and USA  is RORO is as it does not involve use of expensive lifting equipment.

Vehicles should run, drive, brake and steer.  Personal effects and loose cargo are not permitted within most RORO shipments. ( Please ask before you load personal effects as there is a surcharge if the service is offered)    Vehicles should be clean to reduce risk of Customs / Quarantine charges.

RORO services are focused on modern, running vehicles and reliable classics.  Certain ports will ship a non running vehicle with additional surcharges.
