Do vehicles need an inspection before shipping to Tanzania?
The Tanzania Bureau of Standards requires that all vehicles being shipped to Dar es Salaam or simply just transiting through Tanzania must now have a pre-shipment inspection prior to being shipped from the UK. Failure to have this prior to shipping to Dar es Salaam will result in a hefty fine to the consignee in Tanzania.
